Prior to your initial consultation, you will be asked to complete an intake form. This form will detail your medical history, family health history, and current chief complaint(s). Throughout the initial consultation we will begin by discussing the information on these forms, and then proceed to explore other areas of your daily life; including, sleep patterns, food preferences, reactions to weather, etc. A homeopath must explore all aspect of a person's experience in order to select a suitable remedy. Most of the time, a remedy will be dispensed at the end of the initial consultation, though in some cases, further analysis is required and a day or two may be needed to study the case.
During each follow up appointment we will examine what exactly has changed in your case since taking the remedy. For instance: What improved? What stayed the same? Etc.. After each follow up, adjustments if necessary will be made to your prescription. Typically, for chronic cases, follow ups are required every 3 - 4 weeks.

One of the benefits of homeopathy is that remedies are cost efficient. On average, at each appointment the remedy dispensed will cost $5. CEASE remedies may cost more, averaging $15 per round.
An initial CEASE therapy appointment is 3-fold, including: 1) A homeopathic intake (see above), 2) A dietary assessment to explore how well your child’s system is currently able to detoxify, and 3) An investigation to determine what (if any) toxins may be playing a role in your child’s behaviour and/or illness.
Once this information is collected, you will be given personal instructions as to how treatment will proceed. Most often during the first appointment, orthomolecular supplements will be prescribed in order to prepare the body for detoxification. Shortly thereafter, a homeopathic remedy, and if necessary, isopathic remedies will introduced one at time.
A typical initial CEASE therapy appointment is 2 hours, and follow ups vary, depending on the clarity of each case.
